Panel discussion 2: Discussion of Russell Maliphant's Afterlife which was originally a solo and became a group piece, working with dancer Daniel Proietto, collaborating with lighting designer Micheal Hulls and creating works together, how the lighting affects the movement. Panel discussion 3: Discussion of the video footage and how the lighting changes and how it is choreographic, Maliphant's relationship to music, how music usually comes after the work has been created, how he plays with the music's relationship to the movement, working with composer David Holmes, and the music of The Rodin Project. Panel discussion 4: How the Rodin Project came about, the difference between this project and the Nijinsky work Afterlife, studying scupture and applying it to his choreography, how he has incorporated Rodin scuptures and street dancing into his choreography, why he used street dance (parkour, popping, locking) in the Rodin Project, characterizing his movement style, how his work is abstract and Rodin has multiple narratives and how he creates stories as a performer for himself.
