- Lutcher, an R&B and jazz singer, known for her clear diction, speaks about her family and the support she had from them, the performers who influenced her, bands and performers in LA during the war time, recording for Capital Records, the necessity to always perform hit works during live performances, and more. She and Whitesell talk about legal issues that involve royalties in the music industry and dwell on the legal problem with Capitol Records Lutcher is trying to resolve, rock music and the overwhelming promotion which engulfs other music genres it gets from the media, and Barney Josephson, a recording manager and the founder and owner of a club in Greenwich Village, New York, and Alberta Hunter, blues singer.
