"This novel tells the story of a photographer Vincent, in exchange for a life constrained to serve the SS, personal life since the Second World War, Lietūkis garage events until the end of the war. This young man accidentally became an unexpected witness to the events of that time (the "war against our faces strip all masks"), existential drama. Vincent, "used to be the other side of the lens, isolated themselves from reality, as a thin band, against his will becomes irrevocable history, the mass murder of Jews as a witness, an observer, who was unable to change anything and anyone to help. Finally, the observer feels himself to be monitored by a higher power"--
