- Summary
- This book is derived from the 20-part documentary series of the same title and presented by KLRN Public Television in San Antonio, Texas. Between 1910 and 1929, almost a million people left their country to escape the turmoil of the Mexican Revolutionary War. Descendants of the original immigrants, many of whom are prominent citizens of San Antonio, tell the stories of life in Mexico that involved chaos endured by their families along with the treacherous journey to America.
