Summary
Program celebrating Kurt Weill, on the occasion of the opening of an exhibit devoted to Weill and his work, entitled Kurt Weill: Making Music Theater. Kim Kowalke, president of the Kurt Weill Foundation for Music, discusses the man and his career. Several of his songs are performed by Judy Kaye and by Paula Laurence, who appeared in the original Broadway production of Weill's Lady in the dark.
