- Bancroft speaks about the beginning of her acting career ; expresses her opinion on drama schools ; discusses in detail her parts in "The miracle worker" (Anne Sullivan) and "Two for the seesaw" (Gittel Mosca) ; explains her system of preparing for a part ; analyzes the importance of maturity for portraying other people's characters, and talks about her experience acting in films, her concept of technique and "parallel experience," her involvement with "method acting" and circumstances that led to it, and provides her understanding and definition of what method acting actually is.
