- Playwright Edward Albee is interviewed by drama critic and Albee biographer Mel Gussow. He discusses his writing process, his experiences directing his own plays and those of other playwrights, and his impressions of the current theater scene in New York and elsewhere. He fields questions from the audience, and offers comments on several of his own works, including The zoo story, Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and Three tall women. Albee also talks about the 1966 film version of Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and the recent controversy concerning Terrence McNally's drama Corpus Christi.
