  • In this unproduced screenplay the action is in Florence, Italy, at the end of the fifteenth century and the early part of the following century. The leading characters are Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and Lorenzo de Medici's chldren Clarice, Piero, and Giuliano. Much of the story is concerned with Leonardo's painting the Mona Lisa and Michelangelo's creation of the statue David. Incidental characters are Machiavelli and Savanarola.
