- Don McLean talks with Ken Dewey about his experiences with the Hudson River Troubadour Project sponsored by the New York State Council on the Arts. McLean visited various New York towns along the Hudson River (Newcomb, North Creek, Chestertown, Warrensburg, Glens Falls, Lake Luzerne, Ft. Edward, Scarletville, Mechanicville, Waterford, Cohoes, and Troy, N. Y.) singing and talking about pollution and the environment and the history of the Hudson River. The organization "Hudson River Sloop [Clearwater]" was briefly mentioned; it started in 1969.
