- In this cataloged version, the text on p. [1] ends with the phrase "But Mr. Bentham was a theorist in." In a variant version, similar in appearance, but with a different printing font, the text on p. [1] ends with the phrase "believed they were wrong in almost all others." Checklist Amer. imprints entry 38292 does not distinguish between the two versions, but Sabin does make the distinction under his no. 103304, which is borne out by the holdings of the American Antiquarian Society.
