Summary
Raoul Camus, a scholar of American band music, is professor emeritus of music at Queensborough Community College of the City University of New York. He has published several books on the history of military bands and secular music in the United States. The Raoul Camus collection of Jimmy Lanin programs, dating from the 1940 to 1973, holds about 70 programs for events at which the Lanin band performed.
