- Text divided into three sections using notebook's integral beige card-stock dividers.

- Second section with heading "June 18, 1986, 6:15 a.m.": ends with a series of haiku excercises entitled "Haiku" ; the first haiku poem reads "Kerouac, Double Image, Triple Image."

- Third from last page with "Alcohol Detox Unit" phone number.
- Final page with varied notes, including reference to Ezra Pound's Collected Poems and a trip by William S. Burroughs.
