Description
1 case (10 sheets (20 unnumbered leaves)) : 10 color illustrations; sheets 22 x 25 cm, case 25 x 29 x 3 cm
Summary
  • "Box with 10 unnumbered translucent mandalaesque leaves (diptychs) laid in. Relief + monoprinting, letterpress, oil crayon on handmade abaca paper. Cloth-covered, single-tray box with a magnetic closure. Paper title label with illustration tipped on front cover. Original text by the artist"--Vamp & Tramp Web site, viewed Aug. 26, 2015.
  • Each sheet is composed of 2 half-sheets of translucent paper sewn together through the fold of a narrow flap at one edge; each may be folded at the center joint to form 2 leaves. Images, chiefly circular, are double-page, but may be viewed as separate halves when the sheets are folded. Because of the paper's translucency, each is two-sided. One sheet contains text only; one image on cover of case.
