1 case (approximately 28 prints on 8 folded sheets, 1 wool felt block, 2 mounted sculptural objects); sheets 38 x 38 cm folded to 19 x 19 cm, wool felt block 20 x 20 x 2 cm, case 21 x 21 x 5 cm
Summary
  • Printed on Gampi-shi, Gampi 2-layered, and Usuyo Gampi papers. Each of the 8 folded sheets is folded twice to form two double leaves and contains a varying number of full-page, double-page and/or full-sheet images, some of which are two-sided. The total count of prints depends in part on the observer's perception. First sheet contains title page; last sheet contains colophon. No other textual content.
  • "The connections and flow inherent in our natural and created world amaze me. Nourish comes from gratitude, and from a desire to celebrate all those who help preserve our majestic planet. While working on this project, I discovered that transparent paper introduces an element of artistic chance. As light shines through a page, layers of colors and images become more than the sum of their parts; they reveal new meanings. Thus, this pictorial journey emerged"--Colophon.

A cast porcelain turkey wishbone is adhered to the inside of the bamboo box lid"--Colophon.
