- Summary
- Abstract artist Manuel Felguérez (Zacatecas, Mexico; 1928) was the first Mexican artist to use the computer or other scientific instruments or methods as auxiliary to his artistic creations. Felgurez perfected his digital process during his stay at Harvard University, a research that continues today. Such was the success that Manuel Felguérez had with the mechanical possibilities of these machines, that he felt the need to return in recent years to more traditional creation tools: canvas, pencils and brushes, in a creative search of the primitive, infinite and human side of art. "All the works are from the collection of the artist" (Our translation) --Page 59.
