- Summary
- The oral history interview with Walter Bolden begins with his early years in the Hartford jazz music scene. His first big break came when Stan Getz visited Hartford and hired him to go on the road with him. Later in his career, Bolden worked with Gerry Mulligan, Coleman Hawkins, and others before forming his own band.
