Summary
Mikhail Baryshnikov and White Oak Dance Project perform Past Forward, a retrospective and celebration of Judson Dance. Live works alternate with video sequences created by Charles Atlas. Most works are bracketed with a quick description by its choreographer. Public participation is part of the program: local dancers and community members take part in "Huddle" and "The Matter". Poor visual quality. One vocal audience member expresses appreciation for the accompaniment at the conclusion of "The Matter". While narration and interviews are in English, all slide titles, announcements, and (most) audience commentary is in German.
