  • Plates numbered I-XL of the Vignola are included in the pagination.
  • The Vitruvius has 11 numbered plates, the Vignola 51 (no.33 occurs twice).
  • With an engraved frontispiece the Vignola has a separate titlepage reading, 'Vignola: or, the compleat architect; .. ', and unsigned gatherings.
  • Explanation of plate XXI misnumbered XXII.
  • A re-issue of the sheets of the 1703 edition, with cancel titlepages, the addition of letterpress description for plates XXIII-XLI of the Vignola, & the erratic pagination & plate numbering some what regularized.
  • Variant; the misnumbered explanation to plate XXI (p.56 of Vignola) has the figure "XXII" in a different setting, placed under the end of the word "Discription" in the running title.
