- Post-performance discussion with Nora Chipaumire and Okwui Okpokwasili about how they were brought together for this collaboration; where is each of their homes; how does the female child that doesn't take center stage in their upbringing get to where they are now; being interested in beauty and what is beauty; intending work to be political; confronting ingrained taboo beliefs including nudity and talking about taboo subjects; how Chipaumire uses sculpture, shape and style in her work with her body expressing movement and emotion; how Okpokwasili incorporates singing into her work through a character and her husbands help as director/designer; Question & Answer session about Chipaumire's dance appearing to be a tribal bird dance and how both of their works are confident; and concludes with talk of pieces being resolved or works-in-progress.
