Summary

Since 2003, Ulises Figueroa began creating three-dimensional pieces that link the animal Kingdom with the consumerist society, the culture of waste and images from the industrial culture. Figueroa made most of his work from waste, (bones of animals and objects found on the streets). The exhibited pieces were created between 2007 and 2013. With this exhibition we opened a cycle of projects devoted to the history, the urban context and the architecture of the Museo Universitario del Chopo. In this case, the artist makes reference to its past as the National Museum of Natural History (1913-1964).
