- Summary

La tortuga de Darwin tells the story of Harriet, the tortoise that Charles Darwin brought back to England from the Galapagos. Since her voyage, Harriet has evolved into a turtle-woman, able to think, speak, and bear witness to the terrible events of the past two centuries.
