- With imprimatur (in Russian, not Slavonic), first preface (1819), second preface (dated 25 October 1823 and signed by the Metropolitan Seraphim, the Archbishop Philaret, and John, Archbishop of Tver and Kashin), list of books. Text not broken up into verses.
- The first edition in Russian only. Special permission was obtained from the Tsar for printing this edition without the Slavonic text, chiefly on the ground of the gain in portability.
