- Local Note
- Library's copy in *KH is incomplete: lacking all before p. 3, including the title page, and all after p. 158. Match to bibliographic record was made based on Curwen's "Address to the children" (p. 6-8), the pagination, and the fact that there is no advertisement on p.3 as cited in the 1847 edition. In addition, a fragment (p. 3-16) of a child's Catechism (Philadelphia : American Sunday-School Union) is stitched into the back of the text block. The pages were inserted out of order.
