- Summary
- Two oblong sheets--one pink, one blue—with blue folded within pink to form an 8-page pamphlet, with typescript text mimeographed, and with front cover bearing a mimeographed mandala reproduced by the artist, photographer, and film maker Bruce Conner (1933-2008), after the original, owned by his friend the Beat poet Michael McClure.
- Pamphlets for festival held at San Francisco’s Longshoremen’s Hall.
- Festival comprised five sessions: “America Needs Indians,” “Open Theatre Presents,” “Options and Contracts,” “The Acid Test” (led by the Merry Pranksters), and a Worship Service.
- Includes list of the previous venues for Acid tests.
- Text believed to have been written by Stewart Brand (from book seller description).

- Participants included Beat and Counterculture luminaries (not all of whom are listed in the program), including Ken Kesey, Neal Cassady, the Merry Pranksters, the Grateful Dead, Big Brother & the Holding Co., and rock music promoter Bill Graham, who was so inspired by commercial possibilities that two weeks later he was promoting the first of his Fillmore concerts.
