Summary

Consists of eight 6-leaf gatherings of black paper. First leaf is blank; last leaf is blank except for artist's signature and date on recto. Remaining leaves contain decorative paper cuts in spiraling forms, based on the text of Friedrich Hölderlin's poem "Mnemosyne," second version; no other textual content, except text of poem mounted inside clamshell box.
