- Xerograph title page includes Gerard Malanga’s signature.
- Though often best remembered as the original drummer for the Velvet Underground, MacLise was also a poet, calligrapher, and artist. He assisted Piero Heliczer as the latter was establishing the Dead Language Press, and he collaborated with many avant-garde musicians and artists, including La Monte Young, Yoko Ono, Ira Cohen, George Maciunas, and Jack Smith.
