  • Broadside, printed in black on newsprint.
  • Anti-psychiatry poster published as issue no. 3 of La Revue de Psychokladologie et de Psychotheie.
  • One of several publications by the Lettrism movement founder Isidore Isou and his disciple, the painter Maurice Lemaître, attacking modern psychiatry. Isou had been treated by Gaston Ferdiere, the controversial psychiatrist to the avant-garde, who was best known for administering shock treatment to French playwright and poet Antonin Artaud. See Kevin Repp’s checklist to Yale University’s Beinecke Library exhibition (“The Strange Case of Dr. Ferdière”) for an overview of the controversy surrounding Ferdiere and his conflict with the Lettristes.
