The ready reckoner or, trader's most useful assistant in buying and selling all sorts of commodities, either Wholesale or Retail. Shewing at one View The Amount or Value of any Number or Quantity of Goods or Merchandise from one Farthing to Twenty Shillings, either by the long or short Hundred, half Hundred or Quarter, Pound or Ounce, Ell or Yard, &c. &c. In so plain and easy a Manner, that Persons quite unacquainted with Arithmetic may hereby ascertain the Value of any Number of Hundreds, Pounds, Ounces, Ells, or Yards, &c. at any Price whatever: And to the most ready in Figures, it will be equally useful, by saving much Time in casting up what is here correctly done to their Hand. To which is added, 1. A table shewing the number of days from any Day in one Month, to the same Day in any other Month. 2. A Table of the Interest of 100l. from one Day to one Year. 3. A Table of the Value of Annuities at compound Interest. 4. A Table of Commission or Brokerage from 1/2 to 1l. per Cent. 5. Two Tables of the Amount of Expences, Income, &c. 6. A set of tax tables, and an Alphabetical List of the most common Stamp Duties.
