- 6 photographic prints : gelatin silver, black and white; 26 x 21 cm
- Summary
- The Shirley Caesar photograph collection consist mostly of photographic reprints from the dissertation "Shirley Caesar: A Women of Words" by Brooksie Eugene Harrington. Photos documenting the life of gospel singer and evangelist Caesar show a three-quarter portrait of Caesar, an album cover; and views of her in performance, posing in front of her Grammy Awards, and receiving an award as a child. Another reprint consists of two group portraits of Harrington with Lou Rawls. Also included in the collection is a group portrait captioned "Shirley Caesar & and the Caesar Singers." Not part of Harrington's book, it was used for publicity purposes.
