New York Life Insurance Premium Notice for Vladimir Nabokov (Goldwin Smith Hall, Cornell University), dated Nov. 29, 1954 (payment due Dec. 2); Harvard University Student Term Bill for [Dmitri Nabokov’s] tuition, etc., Jan. 20, 1955, with note by Vladimir Nabokov that bill was paid on Feb. 7, ’55; 6 checks signed by Véra Nabokov, drawn on the First State Bank of Salina, Panguitch (Utah) Branch, June 2 ($30.95), June 6 ($10.00), June 27 ($25.00), June 28 ($15.00), July 10 $15.00), July 11 ($443.37); Panguitch Branch bank check for fifty cents for maintenance fee, stamped July 27, 1956, with Vladimir Nabokov’s name typed on the “Charge” line; statement from the Panguitch Branch for the joint account of Vladimir/Véra Nabokov (residing in Mt.
