- Herschel Fox interviews American operatic tenor and cantor Jan Peerce on WEVD radio program. Peerce talks about his childhood, his family and religious background, his Jewishness, and his way to the operatic stage of the Metropolitan Opera. He also discusses his Broadway debut in the role of Tevye in the musical "Fiddler on the roof," his upcoming concert at Carnegie Hall with two other opera singers, and his book "The bluebird of happiness." Various recordings of songs performed by Peerce such as the song "The bluebird of happiness," the song on the love of Jews for Jerusalem by [Abraham Singer], "Shiroh" by A. Olshanetsky, and "Israeli lullaby." The program also includes Coca-Cola radio commercials.
- WEVD radio program dedicated to the life and career of American operatic tenor Jan Peerce, to his Jewish religious and cultural background, and to his wife, Alice.
