- The first book of Cao Guimarães (b. Brazil 1965), which deals with the whole of his work. Book designed by the artist himself, who started an intense review on your photographic archive to build a new reading of his work. No sound or motion photography of his films goes without a new perspective, and the sequence of the pages gives a pace on his works, linking them. It's like a new movie that flashes before the eyes. Moacir dos Anjos is the author of a glossary that analyzes each work showing unpublished correlations between the. Cao Guimarães has just celebated 50 years in Januar of 2015.. From the date and edition of a book about his work, the mineiro artist found the motivation to launch a look over the records made throughout his career, mainly the leftoversʺ, the material that was outside of his official works.
