  • Translation of summary: The Colmar letterer, Meistersinger and painter Jörg Wickram uses the visual dimension of his early modern novels as a narrative design field. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the narrative, para-and transtextual structures of the novels Knight Galmy (1539), Gabrielle Otto and Reinhart (1551), Boys' Mirror (1554) and Gold Thread (1557), this volume illuminates the manifold effects of intermedia on structural elements.
