- Summary
- Charles Vincent was the son of Lewis Vincent and the grandson of John Vincent of Lynn and Sandwich, Massachusetts. He was born ca 1650 and settled in New York as a young man. In 1684 he married and began a family. His wife, Elizabeth Dix was one of seven children of Leonard and Sarah Dix of Wetherfield, Connecticutt. Edward and Deborah Dix, Sarah's grandparents were immigrants to the Bay Colony with Governor Winthrop. Charles and Elizabeth had 4 children.
