Summary
Actor Ron Vawter discusses his performance piece Roy Cohn/Jack Smith, first produced in New York, which he is currently staging in Amsterdam. The piece consists of two monologs. In the first, written by Gary Indiana, he portrays attorney Roy Cohn, and in the second, he portrays filmmaker/performance artist Jack Smith. In this interview, Vawter explains how the piece developed. There are brief excerpts from the Roy Cohn segment of the play.
