Summary

"Artist's book that was initiated in 1995 by Harry Reese - using his prints, drawings, painting, and typography to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Alpha Presse, a publisher of limited edition artists' books in Frankfurt, Germany. Along the way he samples and quotes from Cyrano de Bergerac, Thomas Edison, and Marshall McLuhan. This work utilizes 33 1/3 vinyl long play records as the basis for art work. The book design includes an exhibition style binding produced by Sandra Liddell Reese, that allowes for individual pages to be removed from the book structure and displayed. Additional editing and prints were made as late as 2011 to round out an edition of 15"--Artist's statement
