Bound in thin wooden covers with woven hemp fabric spine; upper cover decorated with a large brown paper cutout of the god Pan playing his flute, and cutout letters hand-colored in black that spell out the title, as well as strips of wood, white cotton mesh, and hemp twine secured with a large screw; lower board decorated with a similar cutout of Pan, holding the iconic Vigía oil lamp painted in yellow, orange, and black.
Edition of 200 copies.
Part of a collection of handmade chapbooks, most with cords for hanging (literatura de cordel), published by Ediciones Vigía under the auspices of the Cuban Ministry of Culture.
