- "This is the story of the life and times of Munyua Waiyaki, a grandson of the Kikuyu Senior Paramount Chief Waiyaki wa Hinga who was buried alive by the British colonial authorities in 1892 for defying their rule. After training as a doctor in Scotland, he came back to Kenya and entered politics. He was one of the founders of Kenya's future ruling party, the Kenya African National Union, KANU, where he belonged to the radical socialist-leaning wing of the party...."--Container.
