- 2 portfolios : illustrations (chiefly color); 57 cm
- Summary
- Consists of one unnumbered and 24 numbered "folios," each comprised of two sheets of Concorde Rag paper joined with paper tape to form a bifolium. In the numbered folios, the first recto bears the folio number and is otherwise blank; last verso is blank. Inside pages contain a color inkjet print opposite a page of letterpress, except folio 4, which has a small black and white image beneath letterpress on both inside pages, folios 16 and 23, which have a small color image beneath or beside letterpress on both inside pages, and folios 21 and 24, which have letterpress only on both inside pages. The unnumbered folio contains the illustrated title page (mounted on the first recto), colophon information (first verso) and introduction (second recto).
- The text consists of excerpts from William Weaver's translation of Giuseppe Giacosa's libretto for Giacomo Puccini's opera Madama Butterfly.
