- Four reviews of Cafe Society Swing, a revue arranged by Alex Webb. Cafe Society was one of the first racially integrated night clubs in New York City, owned and operated by Barney Josephson, a Communist sympathizer, who is a character in this piece set in the mid 1940's. Popular songs of the period serve as the music along with some new tunes by Alex Webb. Reviewed Dec. 23, 2014, when it was produced at 59E59 Theaters, 59 East 59th Street, New York, N.Y.
