- "Closing statement makes clear that book is not an anthology or a general overview of the state of drawing in Argentina; rather, it unites 40 Argentine artists who practice the technique of drawing, most of whom are little known outside Argentina. The biographical data on each artist is useful; however, quality of b/w illustrations leaves much to be desired. Essays by six Argentine critics (Osiris Chiérico, Sarah Guerra, Elba Pérez, Osvaldo Seiguerman, Raúl Vera Ocampo, and Rodolfo Bretones) complement the publication, which is a collective effort"--Handbook of Latin American Studies, v. 58.
