  • Arrangements by William Babell of excerpts from six operas (originally for orchestra or voice and orchestra), compiled into four suites for harpsichord or spinet ; unattributed preludes and arias presumably by Babell himself.
  • Excerpts are from operas by Handel, Francesco Gasparini and Nicola Haym (all first performed in London, 1711-14) ; the operas of Haym's are London adaptations of both text and music of Italian operas by G. Bononcini (Etearco) and G. Polani (Creso tolto a le fiamme).
