Note
  • Compiled by The Billy Rose Theatre Division, The New York Public Library.
  • Two reviews of Juárez: A Documentary Mythology, with the text assembled by director Ruben Polendo. The text is based on tape recordings of people living in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, and El Paso, Tex. These tapes are sometimes played during the performance, sometimes spoken by actors who strive not to impersonate the original speakers but simply to speak without emoion. The mixed media piece was reviewed Sept. 11, 2014, as a Theater Mitu presentation at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place, New York, N.Y.
  • Reviewed by Laura Collins-Hughes in The New York Times and Tom Sellar in The Village Voice.
