- Programs (1934 - 1936) for Hamlet by William Shakespeare, primarily in the United States and England. The bulk of programs here document Guthrie McClintic's production on Broadway starring John Gielgud and Leslie Howard's production in collaboration with John Houseman in which he starred. Includes Percival Vivian's production at the short-lived "Shakespeare Theatre" (N.Y.); a production at the Pasadena Playhouse with Lee J. Cobb as Marcellus; a modern dress production by the Birmingham Repertory Theatre.
