- History, identity and life of the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, as part of the preparations for the celebration of a century of autonomy. The book, that involves members of the academic community, rescues the memory of the academic institution, from its origins to present day, through historical documents and cultural assets that make up its patrimony. "The book now published allows us to enter the different scenarios around the most relevant events of the academic and intellectual life that occurred in the Colegio de la Compañía de Jesús de San Luis Potosí, the Colegio Guadalupano Josefino and the Instituto Científico y Literario de San Luis Potosí, as well as in the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, what we are today, whose origin dates back to 1923 making it the first to have the most institutional value that defines us today: autonomy," (Our translation) --Page 11. Accompanying CD comprises digital audio reproductions of the sound patrimony of the university. Includes public conferences by presidents and UASLP authorities, radio station broadcastings, music interpreted by the Rondalla Universitaria Potosina and the Chamber Orchestra of the UASLP, and historic soundscapes of the central patio.
