- One review of Not the Messiah (He's a Very Naughty Boy), a comic oratorio based on an idea (but not the music) of George Frideric Handel, blending it with ideas from the Monty Python motion picture The Life of Brian. The book and lyrics are by Eric Idle with music by John Du Prez. Victoria Clark, Marc Kurdish, and William Ferguson were principals, directed by Ted Sperling, who also directed and conducted the chorale and orchestra in a wide variety of musical styles. Reviewed Dec. 17, 2014. Two performances were presented by and at Carnegie Hall, West 57th Street, New York, N.Y.
