- Programs (1941-1943) for Native son by Paul Green and Richard Wright, adapted from Richard Wright's novel of the same title, documenting the original production on Broadway starring Canada Lee and directed by Orson Welles for the Mercury Theatre, as well as the play's first revival, produced by The Brandts theatre-owners with Welles directing some of the original cast. Includes programs for performances at the Windsor Theatre (Bronx, N.Y.) and the Walnut Theatre (Philadelphia, Pa.).
