  • Over fifty programs (1903 - 1942) for Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen almost exclusively in the United States, including revivals, college, university, amateur, and regional productions, with translations by Edmund Gosse and William Archer; Julie Le Gallienne and Paul Leyssac; Ethel Borden and Mary Cass Canfield, documenting performances by a range of actors of the early to mid-20th Century, including Minnie Maddern Fiske; Nance O'Neil; Borgny Hammer in her first performance in the United States, which she also directed; Lenore Shanewise at the Pasadena Community Playhouse; Eva Le Gallienne in a number of productions, some of which she directed for the Civic Repertory Theatre; Blanche Yurka in a number of productions, some of which she directed; Alla Nazimova in a number of productions, some of which she directed; Katina Paxinou. Of note is a benefit performance "under the auspices of The Blue Cross Fund," an animal welfare organization devoted to helping horses injured in World War I combat; Valentine B. Windt's production for the Laboratory Theatre of the University of Michigan; a production by the Dakota Playmakers; Ida Z. Kirk's production at the University of Oklahoma with Josephine Nichols (billed as "Josephine Landsittle").
  • The signatures "Carlotta Nillson" within item 1 and "Nazimova" within item 6 have not been authenticated as genuine autographs.
  • Some items are stamped as belonging to the Players Collection and the Robinson Locke Collection.
  • Maud Gill, reputed to be the first female stage manager in England, is credited in the program for the Birmingham Repertory Theatre as an actor and stage manager.
  • Thelma Chandler is credited as the stage manager for some of the productions by the Civic Repertory Theatre.
  • Glesca Marshall is credited as the stage manager for some of the productions starring Alla Nazimova.
