McEvoy, with music by George Gershwin, lyrics by Gus Kahn and Ira Gershwin, produced by Florenz Ziegfeld at the Ziegfeld Theatre, starring Ruby Keeler [billed as "Ruby Keeler Jolson"], Jimmy Durante [billed as "Jimmie"], and Eddie Foy, Jr., with subsequent cast changes.
Cover art of an unnamed showgirl and of Billie Burke is by the illustrator and photographer Hal Phyfe. Some advertising within the programs contains images or photography of blackface entertainers.
