- Summary
- 'The Good Lover' tells the story of Karl Astuson, a charming businessman. He was raised by an excessively indulgent and overprovocative mother, who died when he was 18 years old. This loss has profoundly impacted on Karl's life and dealings with women. His love life consists of a string of meaningless affairs. The only girl who ever came close was Una. But when she left him she left a void that Karl seems unable to fill. He finds her again, and finally wins her over. But will his womanizing past come back to haunt him?
